## Facts

- Input: one JPG, PNG or WebP photo of one person facing the camera, up to 25 MB.
- Output: a JPG at 300 or 600 dpi (Dutch and German visa print presets use 600 dpi) in the document size, or a print sheet on 10 × 15 cm, L-size (89 × 127 mm) or A4 with cut lines.
- Everything runs in the browser. The first background removal downloads 34 MB of model files.
- Backgrounds: white, light grey, blue, red or the original, depending on the document.
- Price: free, no account, no watermark, no limit on photos.

## What it is not

- Not an official service and not connected to any government.
- Does not promise that an office accepts the photo. The US passport option only crops, because the State Department does not accept changed backgrounds.
- German passports and ID cards need a digital photo from certified equipment since 1 May 2025. Mexican and Brazilian passports are photographed at the issuing office. This tool does not replace that.
- Does not retouch faces, change clothes or keep photos.
