Connect
- Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http fotosize https://fotosize.com/mcp
- Cursor, VS Code and other clients with a JSON config: add a server named fotosize with the url https://fotosize.com/mcp.
- Claude or ChatGPT: add a custom connector with the same URL.
Tools
- list_photo_specs: the specs fotosize has checked against official sources, with an id for each. Filter by country code.
- get_photo_spec: print size, head size and how it is measured, allowed backgrounds, online pixel size and file limit where there is one, who takes the photo, the official source and the date it was checked, and a link to make the photo.
What it does not do
The MCP server does not receive or process photos. Photos are made in your browser on this site and are never uploaded. Answers include notes on what a photo must not be used for, such as print-only presets or documents where the office takes the photo; assistants should pass them on.
