Photos

The photo you choose is read, cropped and edited on your device. It is not sent to any server. When you close the tab, it is gone. Files you download are saved by your browser, not by this site.

Model files

The first time you remove a background, your browser downloads the model files from this site (34 MB) and keeps them in its cache.

Statistics

The site uses PostHog (United States) in cookieless mode. It sets no cookies, uses no browser storage and keeps no IP address. It records page views and four events: photo loaded, background removed, photo downloaded, and model failed. Each event carries the page language, the document type and a rough device type. No event carries a photo.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare sees the requests for pages and model files, as any host does.
